Recent visit to this idyllic pub I thought would be a lovely fathers day meal to celebrate fathers day With my two daughters. The service initially was good drinks was good and our food order was taken swiftly. When the meal came it looked quiet presentable I wasn't sure about the burger we had ordered never before have i had a burger were instead of there being a roll it was simply placed between two pieces of bread. Which I thought was shabby. And also there wasn't any batter on the cod which I suppose I was expecting. The fish was dry and tasteless and also had many more bones than necessary the salad was past it's best. The burger was dry and so was the bread around it. Then we sat for over 15 mins after finishing the meal before any body came to clear the plates and considering were the only people in the Restaurant I found surprising. The chef then reached over the table to collect the plates instead of simply walking around. we were then given the choice of sweets, Many of them the waitress informed us as they had actually ran out of. My daughter happily chose the apple pie and custard to which would have finished the meal of nice by there not actually having any.

This is my favourite pub of all time. Great food, good beers, friendly staff in a very peaceful location. Sunda lunch is a must. It has been there since 1690 and long may it continue.

WHAT A PLACE TO DINE! WE WALKED IN AROUND 1PM FOR SUNDAY CARVERY & THE PLACE WAS PACKED. I WAS AMAZED AT THE HELPFULNESS OF THE STAFF WHO RE-ARRANGED A ROOM WHERE A PARTY WAS BEING HELD LATER THAT EVENING (PLUS IT WAS ALREADY SET UP FOR THE EVENT) THAT WAS VERY VERY GOOD. THEN THERE WAS THE FOOD. MY WORD. THE BEEF WAS JUICY, TENDER & VERY TASTY. THE PORK AGAIN THE SAME & THE TURKEY WOW I HAVE NEVER BEEN ANYWHERE THAT HAS TURKEY THATS NOT DRY. HERE IT WAS MOIST, PERFECTLY COOKED & WHITE. FANTASTIC. FRESH FARM VEGETABLES WERE AVAILABLE IN ABUNDANCE ALONG WITH LOADS OF PROPER GRAVY. WE LEFT THERE STUFFED TO THE TOP & WILL BE BACK - AS WE BOOKED FOR THE FOLLOWING WEEK IT WAS THAT GOOD. TOP MARKS FOR FOOD, HELPFULNESS, COMFORT & THE STAFF WERE BRILLIANT. VERY FRIENDLY. THOROUGHLY RECOMEND TO ALL - WELL DONE

Haven't visited for a while, was pleasantly surprised at the amount of 2 for £12 meals on offer and that they are served monday to thursday day and night. Will remember for the future incase we have a drive out one lunchtime. The pub was very busy which was nice to see, will remember to book in advance next time. The food and service was great.

I must have been unlucky: I had deliberately arrived 45 minutes early for a concert I was attending at Frampton Church: I wanted to check out Moore's Arms as a dinner venue and thought I'd have a drink before the concert. I was studiously ignored by the barmaid! She served two women who joined me at the bar later than my arrival time: spent an unconscionable amount of time under my very nose, fiddling about with the till while I stood, 6'2" tall with a fiver in my hand.then just walked away! She didn't even look at me, let alone apologise or serve me: I felt like some leper. It wasn't as if the pub was busy, despite it being England v USA later on. Moore's Arms will certainly not be receiving my custom again.

I have had several visits to the Moores Arms recently and every meal there has been fantastic. The staff have been lovely and couldn't be more helpful. I took a party of 18 and pre-ordered the meals which helps for a large number. Instead of one long table, ours had been set in a horseshoe shape, which enabled everyone to be able to talk to each other, and they even went to the trouble to put fresh flowers on the tables as well. The starters were served immediately we were settled, followed by the main courses (and what main courses!) didn't think we could manage sweets, but we all did and the choice was extensive, (try the brandy snap baskets - fab!) I have read one or two of the reviews and they don't do justice. Lorraine and Gina have turned this popular pub around and I would recommend a visit to everyone to see for themselves. The daily specials are fantastic as is the two for £12 offers during the week. Well done to Loraine and Gina and the staff. See you soon and thank you for making our evening so special.

The moores arms at Frampton is now under new management and has changed quite a bit. The lovely Lorraine and Gina have done a fantastic job at turning what used to be a badly managed resturant/bar with poor service, into a lovely place with staff that are there for your every need and good homemade food. A true must for anyone that wants a nice quiet evening out to enjoy a few drinks and some delicious grub!

No food was avaidable, not even a sandwich, the beers had not been pulled off ready, the john smiths was still full of water from the pipes, no j20 no britvick, my wife settled for a lime and lemon, no plain crisps,All very embarassing for the poor girl behind the bar,who hadent got a clue about beer,I left mine it was that bad, others comeing in for food ,also leaving, Very nice pub but CRAP management who did not seem to give a toss about us poor old lowley customers
